A Small Coastal Town

Hey all, hope the you had a good new year. I know it has been a long time since I have posted. I've been so busy with other projects this blog has kinda been on the back burner but I haven't forgotten about it. I want to get back into tutorials and stuff. For now I am still building on the Apvia map. It's sure getting big. Here is the latest build. The town doesn't have a name yet but it's right on the edge of a permanent chunk error so I want to give it a name to do with that maybe.

Microsoft to buy minecraft

Well the rumor at this stage is that Microsoft is buying minecraft. To say I will be disappointed is a real understatement if this turns out to be true. I would guess it probably is because there have been no denials and the sources of information have been good ones (Bloomberg, Business Week etc). I would never have put so much time into my map if I had known it was just going to be destroyed.Anyway, I will probably be deleting my blog as a result because I cannot support Microsoft in any way in good conscience. I expect the user agreements and who knows what else will be changing in completely unacceptable ways too. I will wait and see what happens but to everyone who has followed this blog over the years thank you and happy digging.
